On this page
A tall stack of smiling pancakes with a pat of butter and syrup dripping down the sides, two strawberries on the plate and a small glass syrup jug, under a sun and clouds. At 48 shapes, it's a breakfast-sized project.
Coloring ideas
Our example sets the stack against a wide Sky background, with Sand pancakes, a Butter pat and Latte syrup.
For a berry brunch, add blueberries in the syrup jug's color and give the background a soft pink.
Tips
Color each pancake's edge a step darker than its top, so the layers separate. Syrup looks glossy with a small white highlight left on each drip and a darker amber at the bottom of every drop.
