On this page
A cheerful gingerbread man hugs a wooden rolling pin next to a big mixing bowl and a star cookie cutter, under a bright sun and two clouds. Only 50 shapes, so it fits in one evening.
Coloring ideas
We kept him in Peach and Latte on a warm Sand counter, with a pale Fog bowl, a Butter sun and Caramel on the cutter.
Try a sugar cookie take instead: a pale pink cookie, a mint bowl and a golden cutter.
Tips
Treat the rolling pin as a cylinder: color it lengthwise, then run a darker stripe along its lower edge. Leave the wavy icing and the three buttons uncolored, or trace them with a white gel pen at the end.
