Capybara Coloring Pages

Capybara coloring pages for adults and teens, starring the calmest animal there is. Capybaras balance an orange or a yuzu on their heads, relax in a hammock, sip boba, paint at an easel and soak in a hot spring. Most of these pages are bold and easy: Capybara Under a Leaf Umbrella and Capybara with an Orange on Its Head take about 15 to 20 minutes, while Capybara in a Hot Spring and Capybara Picnic with Oranges have more to color. Every page is a free PDF in US Letter and A4, or color it online.

Tips for capybaras pages

  • Capybara fur is a warm reddish brown to tan. Use two shades of one brown: the lighter on the muzzle and belly, the darker on the back and the side away from the light.
  • Oranges and yuzu are round: lay the base color, add a darker orange or yellow-green on the shadow side while it is still wet, then a white gel pen highlight once dry.
  • For hot spring water, use a pale blue or teal and leave the steam as bare paper. Color rocks as a patchwork of warm and cool grays, darker on one side of each stone.
  • Leave the face unshaded and add a little pink to the cheeks.
