Privacy
The short version: no accounts, no ads, nothing to sign up for. We measure how the site is used, without knowing who you are, so we know which pages and guides are useful and what to fix.

What we don't do
- No user accounts, logins, newsletters or forms. You never give us your name or email address to use the site.
- No advertising cookies, no advertising networks, no social media pixels.
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone for their own use.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics tool, which we host ourselves: the data stays on our own server and is not shared with Plausible or anyone else. Plausible:
- uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device;
- collects no personal data: it records the page visited, the referring site, your browser, operating system, device type and country;
- uses your IP address only for a moment, to work out your country and to count unique visitors with an anonymous identifier that changes every day, and never stores it;
- only ever shows us totals, never an individual visitor.
We also count downloads (which page, and which format: US Letter or A4) and when someone starts coloring online, in the same anonymous way, so we know which designs people actually use.
We also use PostHog (servers in the United States), through our own address t.cozycoloring.org, for product analytics and session recordings: which pages lead to a download or to coloring online, where people get stuck, and errors to fix. PostHog stores an anonymous visitor ID in a cookie and your browser's storage to recognize a returning visit. Recordings show how pages are scrolled and clicked, with anything typed hidden. We never learn your name or email address from it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works the same without them.
Coloring online
When you color a page online, your coloring is saved in your browser's storage on your own device, so it is still there when you come back. It is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it; Save picture downloads a copy to your device.
Hosting and files
The site and the coloring page files (pictures and PDFs, served from cdn.cozycoloring.org) are delivered through Cloudflare, which, like any network that delivers web pages, processes technical data such as your IP address to send you the page and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare may set a strictly technical security cookie in some cases (for example to tell people from bots); it is not used for tracking or advertising. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so no request goes to Google Fonts.
If you email us
If you write to hello@cozycoloring.org, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We never add you to a mailing list. Ask us to delete your messages at any time and we will.
