Questions
- Why swatch my own markers instead of using a printed chart?
- Screen colors and printed colors never match marker ink exactly, and the same code can look different on different papers. A chart you fill in with your own markers, on the paper you color on, shows the real colors you have.
- Do Honolulu and Honolulu B have the same colors?
- Yes. Ohuhu uses one color card for both: Honolulu has a brush and a chisel tip, Honolulu B a brush and a fine tip, with the same codes and colors in each set size.
- Why are the codes different from my markers?
- Ohuhu changed its color codes in 2025. Each set page lists the old code under the new one ("was R1"), so you can match markers bought before and after the change.
- How do I swatch a marker?
- Color the box with one even layer, then a second layer on the lower half to see how dark the color builds. Use the paper you color on, with a scrap sheet underneath.
