Coloring ideas
Our example uses a Periwinkle mailbox, Stone penguin, Cream envelopes and a Lavender scarf on a Sky background.
For a festive version, color the mailbox red, make the seals gold and give the scarf red and white stripes.
Tips
Shade the snow mounds with a pale blue along their lower curves, and add a soft gray shadow under the mailbox and the penguin's feet so neither one floats. A white gel pen line down the mailbox makes the metal shine.
