On this page
Three sushi friends, a maki roll, a salmon nigiri and an egg nigiri, sit on a wooden board with chopsticks and a dish of soy sauce in front and green hills behind. Quick and easy, with one big flat sky.
Coloring ideas
The colored example sets a Butter sky behind a Sand board, with Sage hills, Cream rice and Peach salmon.
For a cooler look, try a pale blue sky, a very dark green seaweed wrap and coral salmon.
Tips
The sky is the biggest area: with markers, work in short overlapping strokes and turn the page as you go so the edge stays wet. Leave a few thin white lines across the salmon for its fat stripes.
