On this page
A round little frog holds a big umbrella next to a puddle, with two large mushrooms (one spotted) beside it and fat raindrops falling from the clouds. Easy, open shapes that suit beginners and teens alike.
Coloring ideas
Our example uses a Sage frog, a Caramel umbrella, a spotted Butter mushroom, a Blush little mushroom and a Sky puddle.
A bright rainy-day version: a sunshine yellow umbrella, a red spotted mushroom and a soft gray sky.
Tips
Shade each umbrella panel darker toward its outer edge so the canopy curves. Once the puddle is dry, draw two or three white gel pen ripples around a falling drop.
