On this page
A smiling corgi sits on a gingham picnic blanket beside a wicker basket with a sandwich and an apple peeking out, a teapot, two flowers and a big round tree on the hill. A sunny Medium page.
Coloring ideas
Our example uses a Mint tree, a Sky blanket with Sand checks, a Sand and Cream corgi and a Fog sky.
For an autumn picnic, turn the tree orange and red, use a red check blanket and swap the apple for a pear.
Tips
Color the corgi's back and ears a warm tan and leave the chest, muzzle and paws as bare paper, the way real corgis are marked. Layer the blanket's crossing stripes twice with the same blue.
