On this page
A long cat sleeps stretched out on a wide windowsill between two potted plants, framed by curtains, with a big sun and two clouds outside. An easy page with large open areas.
Coloring ideas
Our example uses a Sky window, Peach curtains, a Honey sun and a Cream cat with a striped tail.
A rainy-day version also works: gray-blue sky, raindrops added with a white gel pen and sage green curtains.
Tips
The sun sits behind the cat, so keep its back pale and shade the underside along the sill. The curtains are long vertical areas: turn the page and use short overlapping strokes to avoid streaks.
