On this page
A cat slurps noodles with chopsticks from a big bowl topped with a soft egg and a swirled fish cake, at a low table with a teapot and a cup, in front of a round window onto green hills. Easy, roomy shapes.
Coloring ideas
Our example uses a Coral bowl, a Caramel table, a Sky window and a Pumpkin yolk.
For a late-night version, color the window navy with a pale moon and let the steaming bowl be the only warm spot.
Tips
Color the noodles a pale yellow and darken only where they cross or dip into the broth, so they don't turn into a solid mass. The pink swirl on the fish cake is the one place on the page to use your brightest pink.
