On this page
A cat sits on a wooden plant stand in the middle of four big-leaved houseplants in pots, with a hanging planter above and a watering can on the floor. A Medium page for plant people, mostly leaves.
Coloring ideas
Our example uses Sage for the leaves, Stone and Coral pots, a Periwinkle watering can and a Sand circle glowing behind the cat.
For an indoor-jungle feel, push the greens darker, keep the pots terracotta and fill the wall with a deep teal so the cream cat stands out.
Tips
Give each plant its own green (one blue-green, one yellow-green, one deep green) so they read as different species instead of one hedge. Once dry, draw a center vein down the biggest leaves with a darker green fine tip.
