On this page
A round dog naps on a big sofa with cushions, next to a floor lamp, a side table with a mug and a leafy plant, in front of a big window, with an oval rug below. Done in an evening, even with markers.
Coloring ideas
Our example uses a Sand sofa, Mint and Peach cushions, a Sky window and a Cream dog.
A moody evening version: dark teal sofa, mustard cushions and a navy window.
Tips
The oval rug is a big empty shape: fill it with a pattern drawn in fine tip before coloring, or use a brush tip in circles to avoid streaks. Add a soft cast shadow under the dog.
