On this page
A log cabin with a snowy roof sits among tall pines, with a stack of firewood, a lantern by the door and a spotted baby deer in front. A woodland scene with lots of log ends, for an unhurried session.
Coloring ideas
In our colored version, we keep it light: Mint and Sage pines, Latte logs and a Cream snowy ground under a pale Sky background.
For a cozier night, use dark green pines, a deep blue sky and a warm yellow lantern and window.
Tips
Color every log end in the woodpile light tan, then add a darker ring in the center so they look freshly cut. The deer's spots and the log rings make 18 tiny spaces: use a fine tip or colored pencils there.
